Role: Website editor
Aim
- To ensure efficient and effective management of group membership enquiries
What would I have to do?
- Receive information from a range of sources
- Maintain Google calendar with event dates
- Add news item posts to our Blogger site
- Select images to enhance stories
What support will I get?
- Emailed information to add to site
- Writing style guide
- Training/Instructions in how to use the simple tools
- Regular discussion with Group Scout Leader to address any problems you have
- Any minor expenses incurred will be paid
What skills/time/equipment do I need?
- Internet access
- Basic word-processing skills (you don't need to be a web developer)
- Good organisation to ensure site is kept up to date
- Low time commitment, estimated 2 hours per month
- This role will require a CRB check
How long is the job for?
- Initially we will review together how things are going after 6 months;
- then we will review things annually
