Role: Training administrator
Aim
- To support leaders to access Scouting training and maintain effective records
What would I have to do?
- Maintain record of training booked, attended and assessed for leaders
- Notify leaders of relevant upcoming training courses
- Assist leaders to book training
- Ensure leaders' training fees are refunded on completion
What support will I get?
- Access to group records on adult training
- Initial chat/training to agree approach
- Information about training courses, training requirements and course dates
- Regular discussion with Group Scout Leader to address any problems you have
- Any minor expenses incurred will be paid
What skills/time/equipment do I need?
- Friendly and happy to chat to leaders
- Admin skills
- Simple spreadsheet record keeping
- Access to the internet
- Low time commitment, estimated 1 hour per month
- This role requires a CRB check
How long is the job for?
- Initially we will review together how things are going after 6 months;
- then we will review things annually
