Role: Group clothing administrator
Aim
- To ensure efficient and effective management of group clothing orders (eg Hoodies)
What would I have to do?
- Collect/Receive orders and payments for group clothing
- Pay monies into bank and keep records
- Place clothing orders with supplier(s)
- Management of small stock
- Collect and pay for orders from supplier (based on Inkerman Street)
- Label items with child's names (eg stickers or sellotaped labels)
- Pass items to section leaders for collection
What about money?
- All monies received will be paid into a group bank account
- Clothing orders will be paid for using a group cheque book
- Any minor expenses incurred will be paid
What skills/time/equipment do I need?
- Admin skills
- Simple spreadsheet record keeping
- Access to the internet would be helpful
- Low time commitment, estimated 1 hour per month
- Some time available during the working day to collect orders
- As this role involves handling money a CRB check will be required
How long is the job for?
- Initially we will review together how things are going after 6 months;
- then we will review things annually
